Seniors protest the two year delay in their center opening BUT Yonkers City Hall indicates that renovations are near completion and the Center should be opening soon.

The Seniors called this RALLY because they feel that the Promises made by Yonkers City Hall and Councilman John Rubbo are empty promises and not been delivered.

The seniors are protesting because they feel that they have been locked out of their Center for two years and neglected with empty promises, lack of transparency and no support. They want like their voices and concerns heard.

They are demanding answers.
Councilman John Rubbo unexpectedly showed up and invited the Seniors inside for a WALK THROUGH ….. They were amazed with with what they saw,

At the end of the coverage (last 10 minutes), Councilman John Rubbo tells the Seniors not to let THAT woman to scam them (making reference to Carolyn Elizabeth Marie…..And that is when the GLOVES COME OFF!!!
