Yonkers Police Officer SHOT!

Yonkers Police Officer shot.
YPD Officers approached a suspicious car at the above area and were fired upon. Witness said that they heard as much as 40 shots.
YPD fired back hitting one of the suspects (a Latino man) one of the officers (a female) was hit in the Jaw. She was transported to Jacobi Hospital. Her condition is serious but stable.
Both suspects are under custody.
The area was completely sealed off to pedestrians and traffic.
The name of the Police Officer and Suspects were not released at this time.
