Man shot in the head in Mt Vernon NY

A Mt Vernon man ( Tasheem Boyed ) was shot in the head in his Apt located at 141 N High St 2nd Fl.
Boyd was transported to to Jacobi in critical condition, at the time of this article its unknown his condition. The shooter is still on the loose and no further details are available at this time.

Our sources on the scene said that this may have been gang-related but this is not confirmed. One year ago this very same spot was the scene of a drive by shooting.

Emotions were a little heated up between residents and Asst DA.
