YFD/YPD/Empress EMS responded to a report of a fire at 40 Morningside Ave at 5:30pm.
YFD personal found heavy smoke and fire on the 2nd Fl but quickly put it under control. No one was hurt but the family residing on the 2nd Fl were not able to return to their Apt, everyone was able to return.
How the fire started is unknown at this time.
