Mt Vernon City Council evoked a Press Release to let the Media know what they felt was an outrage at the Mayor’s Richard Thomas latest attempt to: Sabotage the City Business and undermine City Protocol.

The complain is as follow: City Council Members held a special City Council meeting on Aug 17 to expedite a time sensitive matter for the city’s Youth Bureau: a matter that could not be postponed until the next regulatory scheduled meeting in September ” they claim.

We ask: Of all the serious issues in Mt Vernon, is this one of the TOP priorities facing the City???? What about the water contamination????
