Yonkers Voice spoke  with  Mayor Richard Thomas on July 19, 2017 in Mount Vernon, NY. Thomas was there to conduct a Town Hall meeting at a local school.

He spoke about his vision for the City of Mt Vernon and the challenges presented. His remarks detailed his plans to modernize the City of Mt Vernon  and make it a  better place for it’s 68,344 residents.

Contrary to many Town Hall meetings across the country, the audience response was positive.
