What: YFD/City of Yonkers receives massive Grant

Mr Barry McGoey the President of YFD Local 628 speaks with Yonkers Voice about the massive Federal Grant awarded to our FD and City.

This grant will allow the FD/City to hire 30 new Firefighters and pay for their salaries and benefits for the next 3 years.

The total amount of this grant is $11 million dollars and must be used exclusively in connection with the new hiring.
