Yonkers Voice is here again covering an event filled with mixed-emotions the main two being sad and anger!
Last week we covered the procession of Detective Jason Rivera. Today we are here to lay his hero partner to rest. Detective Wilbert Mora,27 who died succumbed to his injuries from that deadly shooting on January 21, 2022.
Even in death he is still saving lives. Wilbert is an organ donor. Some of his body parts are going to complete strangers in need. This loss of these two heroes took a toll on their families , the NYPD ( entire law enforcement & emergency personnel ) , residents from all over NYC and around the world.
We are covering this story with the same emotions. We are grieving together. Let’s find the solution. #Actionsnotwords
