Baby that was dropped off at Firehouse 13 years ago…Comes back to visit

IT’S NOT LOCAL UNLESS IT’S YONKERS VOICE!!!

Date: 12/21/18

Time: 1:00pm

Where: Engine 306 (Oak St)

Baby that was dropped off in a Yonkers Firehouse (Engine 306) 13 years ago, returns  to Yonkers with his adoptive family for a visit.
13 years ago a law was enacted that enabled mothers who couldn’t care for their babies a “No questions asked” ability to leave their children at hospitals, fire stations, and churches.  13 years ago a baby was left in a YFD Firehouse and a fireman adopted this child until the right adoptive family come around.

13 years later we have the honor and pleasure of meeting all involved including the ones who where there that day.

Kudos to ALL, including our YFD.
