A moment with Bob Stauf

Date: 08/02/18
Where: Yonkers, NY
Yonkers, NY: The Yonkers Voice sat down with former teacher, politician and community activist Bob Stauf
A wide range of national and local social issues were discussed (Social Injustice/Justice, Racism, Donald Trump, Religion, Mental Illness, etc) with Bob, who is still highly concerned about distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges.
The Yonkers Voice has always had a deep concern for fair and just relations between the individual and society, as well as, other social Justice issues.
Bob also mentioned his Emerald Focus cable TV show which will air on Cablevision channel 18 this week.
Also, Bob is starting a Yonkers Public Access Program at the library, which will also air in the near future.
So Yonkers will be hearing much more of Bob Stauf in the near future.
Bob briefly talked about his faith, which is appropriate, because “Social Justice” was originally Catholic term, first used about 1840 for a new kind of virtue (or habit) necessary for a just society.
Promoting tolerance, freedom, and equality for all people regardless of race, sex, orientation, national origin, handicap, etc.. is something both Bob Stauf and the Yonkers Voice cares deeply about.
