2nd Burglary on Dunwoody in the last 3 days

***** THIS WAS THE SECOND BURGLARY ON DUNWOODIE STREET IN 3 DAYS ACCORDING TO POLICE *****

Around midnight last night Yonkers PD received a call for a possible burglary of a residence at 216 Dunwoodie Street.

According to police the woman who lives there was out of the house and had her family check on it.  When they did they found the front door had been forced open and so they immediately left the house and called police.

Police on scene told me that nothing had been taken.  Perhaps when the alarm went off the burglars ran off.  Unknown when exactly this attempted burglary took place so unknown if this burglary and the other one are connected.  This information is from police on scene.

After police swept the home and found nobody there they started the investigation.

Yonkers Crime Scene Unit was called to the scene to take pictures.
