Brush Park/Mt Vernon Groundbreaking

Today (8.21.17) Mayor Richard Thomas and the City of Mt Vernon conducted a groundbreaking ceremony on a new playground at the City’s Brush Park.

This new playground is part of the Mayor Thomas commitment to increase green space in the City to 40% over the next decade.

Many local parks will be greatly improved and a place that the residents of the City of Mt Vernon can and will be proud of.

PS: Dont forget that City Slide is coming to Mt Vernon this coming Aug 26th 2017. This event is free for the residents of Mt Vernon from 9am to noon but everyone is invited.
